About Kristian Strandberg Ivanov Dreyer

Kristian is head of the real estate and construction department, where he advises a wide range of real estate industry players in most areas of real estate and construction.

He has a particular focus on real estate project development, transactions, housing law and litigation and arbitration. Kristian has a background in the real estate industry and was involved in starting the country's first "project sales department" in the real estate industry. For more than 20 years, he has worked with project development and project sales in a broad sense - from assistance in connection with land purchase to the preparation of development agreements with the country's municipalities and other landowners, then assistance in connection with the construction of the building and finally the preparation of project purchase agreements with the end buyers, the establishment of the housing association and finalising of the real estate transactions.

When it comes to transactions, Kristian is probably best known for his insistence on keeping everything as simple as possible, and on organizing and implementing a due diligence process that provides meaning and value for the customer without overcomplicating things.

In 2022, Kristian was elected chairman of the real estate committee of the Association of Danish Lawyers, and by 2023 he was elected to the board of DI Ejendom, which is part of the business organization DI.

Kristian is the author of a number of legal textbooks and articles on real estate, which are listed below. For a number of years, he has been a lecturer at the Faculty of Law in Copenhagen, where he has taught the subject "real estate transactions", but is now affiliated with CBS in Copenhagen, where he is a lecturer in the subject "real estate".

Kristian teaches lawyers in e.g. real estate project development, condominium and cooperative housing law and in other of his specialties at several of the leading course providers.

Kristian is a housing judge at the Copenhagen City Court, the Court of Glostrup and the Court of Lyngby, and he is also a trained and certified litigater and Danish and international arbitrator. He is an arbitrator at the Online Arbitration & Settlement Institute (www.disputs.com) and has been appointed as an arbitrator at the Danish Institute of Arbitration in Copenhagen.

He has conducted many of the most important court cases within his field of expertise and is a sought-after litigator in more complex litigation and arbitration cases within real estate and construction.

Since 2015, Kristian has been recommended as one of the best lawyers in Denmark within his field by the international rating agency LEGAL500.
